Dear Respondent,
Co-funded by the European Union, our consortium of research institutions from Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain (EUDiM) aims at gathering information about the situation of immigrant employees and improving the management of a culturally heterogeneous workforce. To gain deeper insight into the present situation in companies, to identify areas where change is needed, and to deduce recommendations, we need
your support!
On the following pages, you will find questions on the management of a culturally diverse workforce in your organization.
In this research, cultural diversity relates to a workforce that includes people with different nationalities.
Please do not be irritated if some of the questions seem similar - this is for methodological reasons. There are
no trick questions
and we believe that you will find this questionnaire interesting.
We would ask you to answer as honestly as possible. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete the survey. If you believe that you are not the right person to complete the questionnaire, perhaps a colleague is the appropriate person to complete it. Under no circumstances will your responses be made available to anyone in your firm. You will remain absolutely
anonymous
and your information won’t be attributed to you, your colleagues, your supervisor or organization.
We wish to thank you for your participation in this study. It is through your cooperation in studies such as this one that we are able to advance our understanding of the management of a culturally heterogeneous workforce. We believe that a better understanding of dealing with diversity in organizations will help those who are involved in managing diverse staff and improve the situation of employees born abroad.
